About MCEF’s Scholarship Awards
The Michael Chukwuma Ebo Foundation Scholarships aims to identify brilliant young talents and provide them with access to education where it is not immediately within their reach. This sets them on the path to fulfill their potential and contribute positively to national development.
Our objective is to help students who experience a socioeconomic disadvantage and also provide a reward to students who are high-achieving and hard-working. Therefore the MCEF Scholarship is both need-based and merit-based.
MCEF scholarship is awarded for 6 years (throughout secondary school education) and covers the cost of tuition, books, school uniforms, boarding house charges, and other related academic expenses. The MCEF scholarship cycle is available for eligible students to apply
Eligibility - Who can apply and qualify for consideration?
MCEF scholarship is open only to the indigent students of Federal Government College Port Harcourt, Federal Government College Warri and St Patrick’s College Asaba in JSS 1. The student must be at least 10 years old by the year of admission and not older than 12 years.
MCEF Scholarships are advertised periodically at the eligible groups’/participating schools’ locations, social media sites, the Foundation’s website and social media platforms. Once an application cycle is open, the application process and method of application will be posted on MCEF website and social media platforms.
MCEF Alumni and Scholars
Since inception, MCEF has provided financial support, educational interventions, and access to quality education for numerous brilliant children who are constrained in the pursuit of education by their families’ financial circumstances. A batch of successful beneficiaries graduated from FGC Port Harcourt, FGC Warri, and St. Patrick’s College, Asaba in 2021 and have proceeded to tertiary institutions in Nigeria. Currently, we have a batch of scholars in various secondary schools and an active MCEF Alumni.
